Is it true that light cannot shine in light? No, it is not true. Light does not just shine in darkness but can also shine in light. Bunmi how so?
Apostle Paul had a very unique experience on his way to Damascus. Read some parts of his testimony to King Aggripa: “One day I was on such a mission to Damascus, armed with the authority and commission of the leading priests. About noon, Your Majesty, as I was on the road, a light from heaven brighter than the sun shone down on me and my companions. Acts 26:12-13 (NLT).
Wow! Many of us did not take note of that part of Paul’s testimony. Can you imagine a light shining brighter than the sun? What a mighty God we serve 🙌🙌.
Dear friends, the Bible says “let your light so shine before men”. It didn’t say before men in darkness alone. It says before men (both those in darkness and those already in the light). Paul shone as a light among the gentiles and even among the Apostles.
You don’t need to put out the light of others to shine, you can also shine in the gathering of lights. This is what is expected of us and this we must pursue!
Happy new month friends.
